Fine Line Tattoo

A fine line tattoo is made with very small groupings of needles, sometimes a single needle, to create thin, precise linework. The result is delicate, detailed and understated. Markd Tattoo in Redfern: five of our artists specialise in fine line work, and we build every piece to hold its detail as it ages, not just on the day you walk out.

What to Expect at Our Redfern Studio

Markd has operated from 132 Redfern Street since 2019, licensed under NSW Operator’s Licence 011227. Tattooing is a regulated skin penetration procedure in New South Wales under the Public Health Act 2010, and we work to those standards as a baseline, not a target.

What that looks like day-to-day:

  • A full consultation before any stencil goes on

  • Custom design work, not flash pulled off a phone

  • Free soft drinks and lunch on offer for full-day clients

We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:30am to 6:00pm, and Sundays by appointment. Read how to prepare for your appointment before your session.
